Respect

People always tell you to respect your elders. I think that yes you should respect what they say, but shouldn't you respect what everyone has to say. Just because people are older then you does not make them more important then you. Respect is a privilege not a right and it something you earn. Your parents should be respected but that doesn't mean that what ever you say is wrong or they are always right. If they want to be respected them maybe then they should respect their children's points.
